Protein Bread with Carrot Sandwich with Roast Beef

For 2 portions:

  • A few leaves of endive lettuce
  • 1 beetroot (cooked, peeled)
  • 6 slices of Mestemacher Protein Bread with Carrot
  • 100 g creamed horseradish (out of a glass)
  • 4 slices of roast beef cold cuts
  • Salt, mixed pepper
  • A little bit of freshly planed horseradish for garnishing
  1. Wash the lettuce, dab it dry and pluck it into small pieces. Slice the beetroot.
  2. Spread four slices of bread with a little bit of creamed horseradish and top with a few lettuce leaves. Place beetroot on two of the slices, and roast beef on the other two. Sprinkle the beetroot with salt, roast beef and pepper.
  3. For each sandwich, place two different topped slices of bread on top of each other and cover with a third slice of bread. Add a little bit of creamed horseradish and lettuce and garnish with planed horseradish.

Tip: Additionally, add a little bit of cranberry sauce on the roast beef slices.

Preparation time: 20 minutes
