Curry sausage burritos

Ingredients serves 4

  • 4 California wraps wheat by Mestemacher
  • 500 grams curry sausage
  • 2 red onions
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • Salt, pepper and bell sweet paprika powder

For the curry sauce

  • 50 ml meat broth
  • 1 tbsp. tomato purée
  • 200 ml tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Worcester sauce
  • 2 tbsp. curry powder
  • honey according to taste


  1. Place all ingredients for the sauce (except the honey) in a pot, stir and let it boil down. Once the sauce has the right thickness, season with honey.
  1. Cut the sausages into slices and fry. Add the sauce to the sausages.
  1. Cut the onions and the bell peppers into strips. Stew both in a pan for five minutes and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
  1. Heat the wraps in the microwave for 20 seconds at 700 watt. Layer the sausages in the centre of the wraps. Place the vegetables on top and then fold the wraps according to package instructions. Wrap the burritos in tin foil and serve immediately.
