Toast snakes with colourful toppings and garlic mayonnaise


  • 1 pack of Mestemacher protein toast bread rolls
  • 8 slices of cheese
  • 4 slices of air-dried Swiss Bündnerfleisch (alternatively, salami)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 carrot
  • 4 olives
  • 1 small piece of cheese
  • 4 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. paprika powder
  • Salt, pepper according to taste


  1. Prepare the toast rolls according to the package instructions. Cut the cucumber and tomatoes into slices. Alternately top the lower half of the toast with cheese, air-dried Swiss Bündnerfleisch, cucumber and tomato.
  2. Chop the garlic clove finely and mix with the mayonnaise and mustard. Season with paprika powder, salt and pepper and spread onto the toast roll Place the second half of the toast roll on top.
  3. Cut out small round eyes from the piece of cheese. Cut the ends of the olive to use as a pupil. Cut the carrot into fine strips and use as tongue.
  4. Decorate the toast rolls with the eyes and the tongue.
