Spanish sausage salad on Mestemacher Fitness Bread


  • 4 slices of Mestemacher Fitness Bread
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 150 grams of Fuet (alternatively chorizo)
  • 1 handful of lettuce leaves
  • 1 handful of pine nuts
  • Salt and pepper according to taste


  1. Dice the sausage roughly.  Cut the onion into rings. Dice the peppers.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan. Sautée the onion first, then add the peppers. After four minutes, fry the sausage cubes briefly. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cut out round shapes from the slices of bread. First cover them with the lettuce leaves and then with the sausage salad.
  4. Carefully fry the pine nuts in a pan without oil and pour over the sausage salad.
