Fancy Meat Salad

serves 2

  • 4 slices of Mestemacher Natural Whole Rye Bread
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 150 g bologna-type sausage in slices
  • 2 pickled gherkins
  • 80 g sour cream
  • 1/2 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 6 leaves of lettuce
  • a little coarse pepper
  1. Cut the slices of bread into 3 pieces, the sausage into strips.
  2. Chop the gherkins and the capers.
  3. Mix the sour cream cream cheese, chopped gherkin, parsley and capers.
  4. Broil the bread in the oven for 3 minutes, until it is crispy.
  5. Put the salad leaves on of the bread and dress it with plenty of meat salad.
  6. Decorate with parsley and some coarse pepper.

Tip: Try baloney instead of the sausage. Also delicious with cream cheese type Swiss cheese!
