Italian Sandwich with High Protein Bread

Ingredients for 2 sandwiches:

  • 4 slices of High Protein Bread or Protein Bread
  • 2 handfuls of leaf lettuce
  • 200 gram of Serrano ham
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp of basil pesto
  • 1 handful of basil

The recipes are suitable for the high protein bread – fine – and the high protein toast rolls – fine – as well as for all Mestemacher protein bread types and protein toast rolls.


  1. Place the lettuce and ham on one slice of bread each.
  2. Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella and place them on top of the ham.
  3. Distribute the pesto on top and place a second slice of bread on top of the topping.
  4. Garnish with the basil leaves.
