Italian Sandwich with High Protein Bread
Ingredients for 2 sandwiches:
- 4 slices of High Protein Bread or Protein Bread
- 2 handfuls of leaf lettuce
- 200 gram of Serrano ham
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 ball of mozzarella
- 2 tbsp of basil pesto
- 1 handful of basil
The recipes are suitable for the high protein bread – fine – and the high protein toast rolls – fine – as well as for all Mestemacher protein bread types and protein toast rolls.
- Place the lettuce and ham on one slice of bread each.
- Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella and place them on top of the ham.
- Distribute the pesto on top and place a second slice of bread on top of the topping.
- Garnish with the basil leaves.
