Mestemacher Fitness bread with herring filet

  • 4 slices of Mestemacher Fitness Bread
  • 8 herring filets
  • 4 gherkins
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 handful of lamb’s lettuce
  • some cream cheese
  • some parsley for garnishing
  • pepper according to taste


  1. Cut the slices of bread in three pieces and spread with cream cheese. Place the lamb’s lettuce on the cream cheese.
  2. Halve the fish filets and now place them on the lamb’s lettuce.
  3. Slice the gherkins and cut the onion into fine strips.
  4. Top the breads with gherkins and onions, season with some pepper, and garnish with parsley.
