Hearty Feta cheese hearts with onion jam


1 pack of Mestemacher Protein Bread

200 grams of cream cheese

200 grams of Feta cheese

Salt, pepper, paprika seasoning according to taste

250 grams of onion

1 tbsp. olive oil

50 grams of sugar

100 ml red wine


  1. Dice the onion and braise it in oil. Add the sugar and deglaze with the wine.
    Then allow to simmer for about another 15 minutes.
  2. Finally, season the jam with a little bit of salt.
  3. Dice the Feta cheese finely and stir it in with the cream cheese.
    Season with salt, pepper and paprika.
  4. Use the cookie cutter to cut hearts out of the bread slices and then
    spread the creamy cheese onto them.
  5. Add jam onto the cheese and serve.
