Fit for future

Mestemacher-Group establishes an advisory board and creates separate supervision and operational management bodies

Milagros Caiña-Andree elected chairwoman of the advisory board

In future, the Mestemacher bread and bakery products Group will include an advisory board, which shall have supervisory, advisory and approval powers.

The advisory board has no operational management powers. It consists of 5 persons and one expert advisor without voting right. Milagros Caiña-Andree is an experienced top manager and was elected as the chair-person. Prior to her election, Ms Caiña-Andree was a long-standing board member of BMW AG – responsible for human resources and social affairs, construction, energy, group security, and data privacy. Additionally, she held management positions at Deutsche Bahn AG and was an executive board member of Vossloh AG. She has been a supervisory board member of Grupo Antolín, Burgos (Spain) since July 2020.

The former managing director of Parker Hannifin Deutschland GmbH, Hans Wolfs, is also an external member of the advisory board, along with Fritz Detmers, Albert Detmers and Prof Dr Ulrike Detmers. Furthermore, the advisory board includes the long-standing tax advisor of the Mestemacher Group, Wolfgang Borkenhagen, with specialist responsibility and without voting rights.

By establishing the advisory board, the industrial bakery Group separates shareholder management and executive management.
