Mestemacher Plum walnut bread with ham and egg salad

Ingredients serves 2

  • 1 pack of Mestemacher plum walnut bread
  • 8 slices of dry-cured ham
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 1 small courgette
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 handful of chives
  • a few dashes of vinegar
  • some salt and pepper according to taste

Preparation

  1. Dice the courgette and onion and sauté in a pan for a few minutes.
  2. Peel the eggs and dice finely. Add the courgette and onion to the eggs. Chop the chives finely and fold in. Season the salad with pepper, salt and vinegar.
  3. Top the bread slices with ham. Add the egg salad and garnish with some chives.
