Vegan Bread with Carrots and Radishes

For 2 portions:

  • 3 teaspoon medium hot mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of dark sesame oil
  • a little bit of agave syrup
  • 2 medium-sized carrots
  • Salt
  • 6 radishes
  • 4 slices of Mestemacher Vegan Bread
  • 1 teaspoon of husked, roasted sesame seeds
  • A little bit of rocket for garnishing
  1. Stir the mustard with sesame oil and agave syrup, and season to taste.
  2. Peel the carrots, using a potato peeler, and cut them into thin strips down the length. Sprinkle a little bit of salt on the strips and leave them to release their juice.
  3. Clean the radishes, wash and cut them into thin slices.
  4. Spread mustard on the slices of bread. Dab the carrot strips dry, roll them up and place them on the slices of bread. Add radishes to them. Sprinkle with sesame and garnish with rocket.
