Vegetarian kebab with cheese-mint balls

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of Mestemacher kebab bread
  • 250 grams of halloumi
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 handful of mint
  • ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 red bell pepper
  • 2 heads of romaine lettuce
  • 4 tbsp. of creamy peanut butter
  • 4 tbsp. of cream
  • 1 tbsp. of soya sauce
  • Mint for decoration

Preparation

  1. Dice the cheese finely. Chop the mint finely and grate the carrot. Mix the ingredients and season with cayenne pepper. Shape little balls from the dough and sear these in the pan from all sides.
  1. Mix the peanut butter with the cream and the soya sauce.
  1. Wash the lettuce and shred the leaves individually. Wash and dice the bell peppers.
  1. Prepare the bread according to packaging instruction and fill with the lettuce, the bell peppers and the cheese balls. Finally, add the peanut butter sauce to the kebab and garnish with the mint.
