Scarlett – the butterfly with strawberry curd and muesli bread

Ingredients for 4 butterflies

  • 8 slices of Mestemacher muesli bread
  • 250 grams of curd
  • 1 tbsp. of strawberry jam
  • 500 grams of strawberries
  • 1 handful of mint
  • 1 handful of red grapes

Preparation

  1. Stir the curd until frothy, before folding in the strawberry jam. Cut 350 grams of strawberries into small pieces, pluck the mint (put the stems aside) and chop the leaves finely. Now also fold the strawberries and the mint into the curd.
  2. Cut a butterfly shape out of the bread slices. Spread the strawberry curd onto one of these slices respectively. Place the second slice of bread on top.
  3. Decorate the butterflies with the remaining strawberries and grapes and use the mint stalks as feelers.
